Heidi Lyon Named Chair of Employee Benefits Practice Group

Heidi Lyon has been named chair of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.
A partner at the firm, Lyon will lead the 15-member practice group, which assists clients with employee benefits and executive compensation programs, including pension and 401(k) plans, health and welfare plans, employee stock ownership plans, incentive and wellness programs and deferred compensation plans.  As the largest and most comprehensive team of any law firm in Michigan, the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group handles plan development and design, Employee Retirement Income Security Act, or ERISA, compliance, and governmental audits and investigations.
Lyon focuses her practice on assisting employers and service providers with retirement plan and executive compensation issues.  She is recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyers for her work in the field.  She also chairs the firm’s Professional Staff Committee.
Active professionally and in the community, she is a member of Inforum and graduate of its Executive Leadership Program, and a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and the Employee Stock Ownership Plan Association of America.  She plays in the annual Women Lawyers v. Judges Annual Charity Softball Game.
