Follow these 6 rules to reduce the chance of a DOL visit

In the latest edition of Smart Business, Warner Norcross Partner Jennifer Watkins recently offers six tips to help businesses avoid a visit from the Department of Labor. Noting that the DOL has recently added hundreds of investigators to its staff, Watkins said that the likelihood of a visit is increasing -- and cautioned that the majority of civil investigations result in violations.
