Christian E. Meyer Named to Best Lawyers in America


Christian E. Meyer, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been named to The Best Lawyers in America® 2012.

Meyer, who is new to the list this year, was recognized for his work in real estate law. He is one of 69 attorneys from Warner Norcross who were selected for the peer-review award, which denotes legal excellence in specific practice areas.

Warner Norcross has more partners included in Best Lawyers than any law firm in Grand Rapids, Holland or Muskegon. Additionally, the firm has more attorneys listed in Best Lawyers in the areas of employee benefits, environmental law, financial services regulation, technology, international trade and finance, mining, trusts and estates, securities regulations, water and non-profit/charities law than any other firm in Michigan.

Meyer concentrates his real estate practice in the areas of transactional, zoning and litigation matters for businesses and individuals. He serves on the firm's Legal Practice and Nominating/Evaluation Committees.

Meyer holds a bachelor of arts degree from Calvin College, a master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Virginia School of Law.

A native of Grand Rapids, he now resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Alison, and children Elizabeth, Catherine and Henry.
