How Automotive Suppliers Can Best Manage Cost Structures

Original Equipment Suppliers Association and IRN, a Grand Rapids-based consulting firm for automotive suppliers, will share the results of the recent pricing survey. Traditionally, survey results have revealed information on the dynamics of the commercial relationship between suppliers and their OEM and tier customers.

In addition, Warner’s Fred Smith will discuss best practices for maximum leverage in pricing negotiations.  He will cover best written communications, difficult meetings and disputes, the dos and don’ts for attempting to obtain price increases, pushing back on requests for price decreases and countering common purchasing techniques.
