Community Revitalization Program and Other Tools to Achieve Sustainability

Warner Nocross & Judd's John Byl will be among the featured speakers at a day-long workshop developed by the National Brownfield Association and hosted by the Michigan Municipal League and the NBA Michigan Chapter. He'll discuss the Community Revitalization Program and other sustainability iniatives.

The workshop, Building Sustainable Communities: Revitalizing Your Town,  is designed to bring both a national and local perspective to building more sustainable communities. Presenters will discuss how to enhance the economics of urban centers by recycling land and infrastructure, using clean energy, green buildings, smart transportation and a regional planning approach that promotes building green on brown. It will take place 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on June 5, 2012, in Lansing.
