MSC Order List: October 21, 2011

In Young v. Nandi, the Michigan Supreme Court peremptorily reversed in part a Court of Appeals decision requiring a trial court to award of case-evaluation sanctions for post-appeal proceedings in the trial court. The Court concluded that the post-appeal proceedings did not have a causal nexus with the rejection of the case-evaluation award. Justices Cavanagh, Hathaway, and Marilyn Kelly dissented.

The Court also dismissed a case on the stipulation of the parties.
