Judge Ryan to step down from the Sixth Circuit in September

The AP is reporting today that Senior Sixth Circuit Judge James Ryan, of Michigan, will be stepping down in September.' In addition to his work on' the Sixth Circuit since 1986, Judge Ryan also served nine years as a Wayne County Circuit Court judge and ten years on the Michigan Supreme Court.'
