News: Judge Brian Zahra appointed to complete Justice Corrigan's term

This morning, Governor Snyder announced he is appointing Judge Brian Zahra to complete Justice Maura Corrigan's term as Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court. Judge Zahra has served on the Court of Appeals since 1994. Judge Zahra ran for election to the Michigan Supreme Court in 2004 but was not elected. Before serving on the Michigan Court of Appeals, he clerked for United States District Court Judge Lawrence Zatkoff and worked at Dickinson, Wright, Moon, Van Dusen & Freeman. Soon-to-be Justice Zahra will be required to run for election in 2012 to complete the remaining two years of Justice Corrigan's term.
