Cara L. Nieboer has joined Warner Norcross & Judd LLP as an associate.
Nieboer concentrates her practice on the representation of hospitals and other health-care providers in a variety of matters, including regulatory compliance, medical staff and physician relations, hospital and physician joint ventures, physician contracting and hospital risk-management issues. She will be based in the Firm's Grand Rapids office.
Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Nieboer was an associate with Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge in Grand Rapids.
Active professionally and in the community, Nieboer teaches health law and ethics as an adjunct professor for Grand Valley State University. She is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the Health Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the American Health Lawyers' Association, the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
Nieboer holds a bachelor's degree from the Central Michigan University and a doctor of jurisprudence magna cum laude from Michigan State Law School where she was a senior editor of the Law Review.
A native of Fremont, Nieboer now resides in Grand Rapids.
