Warner Norcross & Judd LLP will again offer its popular HR Seminar.
The expanded seminar, which will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11, will feature presentations and panel discussions on more than two-dozen labor, employment and employee benefits topics. More than two dozen Warner Norcross attorneys will make presentations during the day-long seminar, including:
Lou Rabaut, chair of the Firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group, who will lead the morning session on employers of choice
Jim Cavanaugh and Troy Cumings, both from the Firm's Governmental Affairs group in Lansing will discuss how the winner of the 2008 presidential contest will impact businesses during a special lunch program
Overviews of critical topics in labor and employment law, as well as in employee benefits
Breakout sessions on a variety of topics, including flexible benefits plans, compliance challenges, fringe benefits, text messages and related issues

For more than 20 years, the Warner Norcross HR seminar typically draws more than 300 human resource professionals for a day of professional development. Attendees at this year's session are eligible to receive 6.5 continuing education units, or CEUs, toward recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute.
