You need to update your "Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law" poster. The new EEO posters reflect the passage of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 (GINA), which is effective November 21, 2009. GINA requires that covered employers post notices informing covered individuals of their rights under the law. The revised poster also includes updates from the Department of Labor.
There are a couple of ways to comply with the new posting requirements. You can post a supplement to the EEOC’s September 2002 "EEO is the Law" poster or OFCCP's August 2008 "EEO is the Law" poster (you already should have one of these posters in your workplace). Alternatively, you can post a new poster with the new language included. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's poster has been updated to include information about GINA.
If you do not comply with the posting requirements you can be subject to fines.
You can find more information and get posters at http://www1.eeoc.gov/employers/poster.cfm.
