(April 10, 2006) – Mark K. Sevald has joined Warner Norcross & Judd LLP as a partner in the Grand Rapids office.
Sevald brings nearly three decades of experience in real estate and commercial law to Warner Norcross, which is the largest law firm headquartered in West Michigan. He has represented numerous clients on issues related to construction, zoning, titles, environmental due diligence, tax assessments and abatements, contracts and related issues.
Additionally, he has substantial experience in public and private tax-exempt bonds, and has represented underwriters, credit banks and others on a wide range of bond-related issues.
Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Sevald was an attorney with the Grand Rapids office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where he was active in their real estate, banking and environmental practices. Since beginning to practice law in 1978, he has also been a partner with two other Grand Rapids-area law firms.
Sevald is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan, where he is active in the Real Property, Environmental and Business Law sections. He also serves as chair of the Thornapple Township Planning Commission.
Sevald received his bachelor of science degree from Wayne State University and his doctor of jurisprudence cum laude from Wayne State University Law School.
