Kurt Dykstra to Chair West Michigan Airport Authority Board

Kurt D. Dykstra, a partner with Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been named chairman of the West Michigan Airport Authority Board.

Dykstra, who concentrates his practice on litigation, will serve as chairman of the board, which oversees the operations of Tulip City Airport in Holland. Tulip City Airport is a general aviation airport servicing the transportation needs of the lakeshore community in West Michigan. Dykstra has served as a member of the board for a year, was on the inter-governmental airport authority formation committee, and was a member of the City of Holland's Airport Advisory Board.

He is also as a member of the Holland City Council and an adjunct instructor at Hope College. Dysktra serves on the board of Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners and as a trustee to the Northwestern College Board of Trustees in Orange City, Iowa.

Dykstra joined Warner Norcross in 2002 after working for a law firm in Milwaukee, Wisc. and serving as judicial law clerk for the Hon. Ann Walsh Bradley of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Dykstra received his bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, from Northwestern in 1994. He received his doctor of jurisprudence, summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisc., where he graduated first in his class and was the editor in chief of the Marquette Law Review.
