  • Kurdziel Industries, Inc., v. JLG Industries, Inc. (Muskegon County Circuit Court 2009). First-chaired jury-trial victory in breach-of-contract action by plaintiff supplier of cast counterweights against multinational heavy-equipment manufacturer
  • Lopez v. Capitol Bancorp Ltd. (U.S. Western District of Michigan 2009). Represented plaintiff in shareholder action against national banking organization under Michigan business corporation statutes and federal securities laws
  • Shape Corp. v. Wellington Industries, Inc. (Ottawa County Circuit Court 2008). Obtained summary disposition on entire claim for plaintiff manufacturer and automotive supplier in breach-of-contract action against automotive supplier
  • Monahan SFI, LLC v. 3M Company (U.S. District for Vermont 2010). Represented Plaintiff manufacturer in breach-of-contract action against multinational corporation and foreign subsidiary
  • Trade Partners Litigation (U.S. Western District of Michigan 2007). Represented defendant bank in complex securities, contract and fraud litigation
  • Represented big-four accounting firms in trial and arbitration on accounting-malpractice claims
  • Represented wireless telephone company in state-court and regulatory proceedings on anti-competitive tort claims
  • Represented tobacco companies in state-court litigation and appeals on contract and settlement-enforcement claims
  • Represented building-product manufacturer in federal and state-court litigation on products-liability claims
  • Represented energy utility in federal and state-court litigation on securities and shareholder-rights claims
