Mr. Meurlin has more than 30 years of corporate law experience, including 16 years at Jones Day and 7 years as General Counsel at Amway Corporation prior to his joining Warner Norcross & Judd.
Mr. Meurlin has significant international experience, including direct foreign investments (particularly in China), joint ventures, international securities offerings and international mergers and acquisition work in both Asia and Europe.
Mr. Meurlin has also counseled numerous public and private companies on a wide range of general corporate and commercial issues. He has also been involved in numerous acquisitions and dispositions for industrial and financial services clients, including public and private companies in negotiated and hostile contexts. He has represented numerous issuers from a variety of industries (including banking, industrial, consumer products and technology) and all of the major national and regional underwriters in debt and equity offerings, including a significant number of initial public offerings. Mr. Meurlin was formerly the chair of the firm's International Business Practice Group.
