Warner Norcross & Judd offers two scholarship programs to promote diversity in the legal profession in the state of Michigan.

Minority Scholarship Program

The Firm sponsors an annual Minority Scholarship Program that awards $5,000 to a law school student, $2,000 to a paralegal/legal assistant student and $1,000 to a legal secretarial student. Candidates must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited school in Michigan and be a current or former resident of Michigan. Winners will be selected by the Grand Rapids Community Foundation. The deadline for submitting applications to the Foundation is April 1, 2012.

LSAT Preparation Course Scholarship

The Firm also sponsors a LSAT Preparation Course Scholarship program. Each year, Warner Norcross awards scholarships to minority college students in their junior or senior year to attend a Kaplan LSAT preparation course. The scholarships, each valued at up to $1,500, will give minority students interested in attending law school a jump-start on the Law School Admissions Test.

Interested students should print, complete and submit the LSAT Preparation Course Scholarship application form to: WNJ LSAT Scholarship, Attention: Ms. Robin Keith, Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, 900 Fifth Third Center, 111 Lyon Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503-2487. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2012.
