Summer Associates
Our 2009 summer clerkship class was composed of 24 students from Boston University, Case Western, Cornell, Harvard, Indiana-Bloomington, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Wayne State. The class had 14 men and 10 women (18 second-year students and 6 first-year students). Three of the summer associates were persons of color.
We have hired seven second-year students to clerk with us in 2010. As a result, we are no longer accepting resumes from second-year students. Our 2010 first-year recruiting season is currently in process. We anticipate hiring five first-year students for the summer of 2010, all for the Grand Rapids office.
Associates
The 2009 class of associates, who started work in September of 2009, was drawn from five different law schools, including Case Western, Indiana-Bloomington, Michigan, Michigan State and Wayne State. The group included five women and five men, including one person of color.
The 2010 class of associates, who will start in September of 2010, is composed of four women and four men, drawn from four different law schools. The class includes one person of color.
