NLRB Final Poster Rule Further Postponed

12/28/2011

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has again postponed the implementation date for its new notice posting rule. The new date is April 30, 2012, postponed from Jan. 31, 2012. At present, no other changes to the rule are planned.

The NLRB agreed to the postponement at the request of a federal court in Washington, D.C. After hearing the legal arguments in National Association of Manufacturers v. NLRB, the court asked for more time to deal with the legal issues the rule presents.
