Attorney Spotlight: Jennifer Remondino, Estate Planning Attorney

What kind of law do you practice and what do you enjoy about it?

I am an estate planner, although my practice also includes business and succession planning. I really enjoy getting to know clients on a personal level and helping them plan their legacies. People are fascinating and that keeps things interesting. No two estate plans are ever the same and it is rewarding to help clients design plans that fit their unique circumstances.

Tell us about your background and why you decided to become an attorney.

I always wanted to become an attorney. It was the only career path I've ever considered, which is surprising because my best subject in school was math. I received my undergraduate degree  in three years from Michigan State University so I could go straight to law school. I identified at a young age that attorneys are required to learn and understand complicated subject matter and then convey the conclusion in a manner that is understandable and persuasive. I always enjoyed doing this and thought that being an attorney would be an interesting and challenging profession.

When did you decide to join Warner Norcross?

I joined the firm right after graduating from law school. I chose Warner Norcross because of its great reputation and I knew that the firm could help me develop and support a sophisticated practice.

What do you think people would be surprised to learn about you?

For the most part, my life is an open book, but I was the tallest student in fifth grade. For those readers who know me personally, I suspect this would surprise them.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I have three wonderful children, ages six, three and one. I absolutely love spending time with them. Being involved in their lives as much as possible is my hobby for now. I know that they will grow up and I will get back to reading novels, watching grown-up television shows and being a little less tired; but, for now, when I am not at the office, I am doing things like coaching soccer, playing hide-and-seek and riding scooters.
