Jay Smith practices in the areas of trusts and estates, closely held business law, estate and gift tax and family businesses ownership succession. He counsels families in developing and implementing multi-generational planning for the retention or transfer of family or closely held businesses to younger generations with minimum gift, income and estate taxes.
