  • Extensive experience in assisting global clients with freedom to operate opinions, including frequent early involvement with engineers and developers to strategically avoid patent infringement.
  • Involvement in many corporate transactions involving intellectual property, including buyer or seller due diligence, licensing agreements, joint venture and development agreements and supply agreements.

  • Assists clients during the development of products by providing developers and engineers with early guidance on infringement risks.
  • Enforces the patent rights of clients of all sizes, from individuals and small businesses to large multinational corporations.
  • Drafts and negotiates agreements for the transfer of technology and intellectual property.
  • Assists academic clients in the development of policies for intellectual property ownership and transfer.
  • Services clients’ needs on various trademark matters, including trademark clearance searches and obtaining trademark registrations.
