Warner's Troy Cumings featured in Grand Rapids Legal News on his role with the EARC

"Lawyerlobbyist" Troy Cumings recently spoke to the Environmental Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association on his new role guiding the state in its quest to streamline Michigan's environmental regulations. Cumings, who was appointed to the state's Environmental Advisory Rules Committee earlier this year, said that the process has been "intensive" but has provided a "stellar opportunity" for those invited to participate. As chair of the Remediation Subcommittee, Cumings is leading one of the three primary subcommittees tasked with reviewing more than 6,000 environmental regulations with an eye to ensuring that the regulatory process is "fair, efficient, transparent and conducive to business growth and job creation."
