Warner Partners Named to New Leadership Roles

Two partners with Warner Norcross + Judd are taking new leadership roles within the law firm.

Christian E. Meyer was named chair of the Real Estate Practice Group and Gordon J. Toering was appointed chair of the Restructuring and Insolvency Law Practice Group.

  • Meyer concentrates his practice on a variety of real estate, zoning and property tax matters for business and individuals, including retailers, financial institutions, developers, contractors, family offices and nonprofit organizations. Recognized as a leading real estate authority by legislators, business leaders and peers, Warner’s Real Estate Practice Group provides pre-transaction counseling to identify and resolve issues, as well as legal counsel in negotiating terms to reduce risks and liabilities. Our attorneys resolve real estate legal disputes efficiently, effectively and fairly.
  • Toering focuses his practice in bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, collection and insolvency law, as well as commercial and business law. Warner’s Restructuring and Insolvency Law Practice Group represents clients in corporate restructurings and reorganizations, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings, loan workouts, preference claims, debt collection, foreclosures and related matters. Our attorneys also work with businesses to structure transactions designed to anticipate bankruptcy problems.
