Warner Norcross partner Steven Kohl quoted in Bloomberg article on air emission regulations

Steven C. Kohl, a partner in the Southfield office and chair of the firm’s Resources, Energy and Environment Practice Group, was quoted in a Bloomberg BNA Daily Environment Report about federal air emission standards that apply to power plants and other facilities during startups, shutdowns and malfunctions.   

A federal appeals court recently upheld a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rule that requires power plants, refineries and other facilities to comply with federal air emission standards at all times. Speaking at a conference sponsored by the Michigan Manufacturers Association and State Bar of Michigan, Kohl offered several tips on how companies can better prepare and respond to the EPA’s enforcement of the regulations.
