Warner Norcross Partner Attends Invitation-Only Economic Conference

Thomas J. Manganello, a partner with Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, recently participated in an invitation-only conference of business, government and academic leaders to discuss the future of Michigan's economy.

The day-long conference, titled "Where Do We Go From Here? An Agenda-Setting Conference for the Economic Issues Facing Michigan," drew more than 200 attendees. Manganello, who chairs the Firm's Automotive Industry Group, submitted for consideration a paper on the future of the automotive industry in Michigan.

The event was cosponsored by the Center for Michigan; the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy; and the Center for Local, State and Urban Policy.

Manganello is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Product Liability Advisory Council, Defense Research Institute, the Wayne County Mediation Tribunal, the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan. He currently serves as legal counsel to the O.E. Sales and Marketing Counsel of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association, or OESA.

He holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and his doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Detroit Mercy.
