Warner Norcross Names Joseph A. Kuiper as Partner

Warner Norcross & Judd LLP today announced that Joseph A. Kuiper has been named as a partner in the Firm.

Kuiper, who practices in the Firm's Grand Rapids office, joined Warner Norcross in 1998. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Francis D. Murnaghan, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Active both professionally and in the community, Kuiper is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.

Kuiper holds a bachelor of arts degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where he graduated summa cum laude. He received his doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as articles editor for the University of Illinois Law Review. He was elected to the Order of the Coif and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

A native of Kalamazoo, Kuiper now resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Kimberly, and their children, Justin and Sarah.
