Tom Manganello comments on GM’s reversal on supplier contract terms & conditions in Crain’s Detroit Business

Crain’s Detroit Business quoted Warner’s Tom Manganello in an article titled, “GM reversal on some supplier contract terms called a step in the right direction.”  The post said that after receiving a “flood of complaints,” GM is striking several of the contentious changes it made to its purchasing contract last year.

Manganello, who leads Warner’s Automotive Industry Group, has been closely monitoring the GM terms brouhaha since it surfaced in July.  "This is a win for suppliers, and our clients are pleased . . .  it's definitely a step in the right direction," Manganello said in the article. "From personal experience with GM and through discussions with others, GM was getting a lot of feedback and it wasn't positive. GM's changes should help guide future discussions."
