Ten New Associates Join Warner Norcross

Warner Norcross & Judd LLP today welcomed 10 new attorneys to the Firm as associates.

The new associates have all been admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. The new attorneys will practice in the Grand Rapids office of the firm, with the exception of Jane M. Kogan, who will practice in Southfield. They include:

  • Nathan DeVries, who received his doctor of jurisprudence from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland magna cum laude and a bachelor of science in engineering magna cum laude from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. He is Order of the Coif at Case Western.
  • Metta J. Dwyer, who received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School cum laude and a bachelor of arts from Michigan as well. She held editorial positions with the Michigan Journal of Gender and Law and the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform.
  • Tara M. Kennedy, who earned her JD from Michigan State University College of Law and a bachelor of arts from the University of Michigan.
  • Jane M. Kogan, who earned her JD cum laude from Wayne State University Law School and a bachelor of arts from the University of Michigan. She held editorial positions with The Wayne Law Review.
  • Kellen E. Lynch, who received her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law Bloomington magna cum laude and a bachelor of science cum laude from GVSU. She was articles editor of Indiana Law Journal and is Order of the Coif.
  • Scott T. McNurlen, who earned his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law summa cum laude and a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, also from MSU. He was an associate editor of the Michigan State Law Review. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
  • Jordan Paterra, who received his JD from Wayne State University Law School cum laude and a bachelor of arts from The University of Chicago with honors. He was an associate editor of Journal of Law in Society.
  • Mary E. Tell, who earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a bachelor of arts from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
  • David R. Whitfield, who received his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law magna cum laude and a bachelor of arts from Olivet College in Olivet, Mich.
  • Dean H. Zarafonetis, who earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School magna cum laude and a bachelor of science in business administration cum laude from Central Michigan University. He held editorial positions with The Wayne Law Review and is Order of the Coif.
