Stephen C. Waterbury Appointed to Grand Rapids Symphony Board

Stephen C. Waterbury, a partner at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Grand Rapids Symphony.

Waterbury, who concentrates his practice in securities and business law, is active both professionally and in the community. He is a member and past president of the Association for Corporate Growth of West Michigan and the University Club of Grand Rapids. He is a board member of the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, a member of the Local Officers Compensation Commission for the City of Grand Rapids, a member of the Woodrick Institute for the Study of Racism and Diversity and has participated in the inaugural class of Leadership West Michigan.

Waterbury speaks widely on corporate and securities issues. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association and is active on numerous committees. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for more than 10 years and is a fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation.

A native of Lansing, Waterbury holds a bachelor's degree with very high honors from Michigan State University in East Lansing and a doctor of jurisprudence from Harvard Law School, where he was editor and case officer of the Harvard Law Review.
