Brian P. Lennon to Lead Warner Norcross Higher Education Practice

Attorney Brian P. Lennon will serve as the new chair of the Higher Education Practice at the law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.

Warner Norcross works with community colleges and four-year colleges and universities throughout Michigan, providing them with a variety of legal services, including compliance with Title IX, Clery Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Freedom of Information Act, open meetings laws, search and seize laws and related government regulations of higher education.  Additionally, Warner Norcross has extensive experience in collective bargaining and contract negotiations, immigration law, grant audits, employee benefits, labor law, intellectual property and patents, real estate and construction and related areas.

Lennon joined Warner Norcross earlier this year, bringing more than 17 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Justice to his new role as senior counsel.  He also concentrates his practice in criminal defense.

Lennon received his undergraduate degree in government from Harvard College and his doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

A native of South Bend, Ind., Lennon currently resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Susan, and their four children.
