April A. Goff Joins Warner Norcross


April A. Goff has joined Warner Norcross & Judd LLP as senior counsel.

Goff concentrates her practice in employee benefits, with an emphasis on the design and administration of health and welfare plans, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, health care reform legislation, benefit plan audits and compliance, wellness programs, qualified retirement plans and related areas. She will practice in the firm's Grand Rapids office.

Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Goff was a senior associate with Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Chicago. She has also practiced in Missouri and Florida.

Goff holds a bachelor of business administration magna cum laude from Tarleton State University and a master of business administration from Baylor University, both in Texas. She also holds a doctor of jurisprudence magna cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law in Florida, where she was editor in chief of the St. Thomas Law Review.

A native of Dallas, she now resides in Grand Rapids with her husband, Patrick, and their two children.
