Health Law

We have broad and comprehensive experience in health-care law.

Warner Norcross serves as general counsel to hospitals, physicians and physician groups, nursing homes, health insurance companies and other providers of health-care services. We understand the unique needs of each of these groups and provide the counsel needed for clients to understand and comply with regulations in this ever-changing field.

As legal counsel to 15 hospitals in Michigan, we provide counsel in all areas of corporate planning and regulatory compliance, including licensing and certification, accreditation, medical staff administration, physician recruiting, joint ventures, peer-review actions, reimbursement matters, and labor, bonding and antitrust issues.

As legal counsel to hundreds of physicians and physicians groups, we advise on all aspects of practice management, HIPAA, regulatory compliance, employee benefit plans, taxation and estate-planning issues. We are national leaders in the area of concierge medicine, advising scores of physicians on how to transfer to this innovative and patient-focused model of practice. One of our partners is the co-founder and general counsel to the national concierge medicine trade association, which is known as the Society of Innovative Medical Practice Design.
