Warner accepts 1L applications starting on December 1 through January 30 of each year. Please follow the link below to apply for Warner’s 1L summer associate program.

1L Diversity Scholarship

The Firm is sponsoring a 1L Diversity Scholarship. This scholarship program is intended to promote diversity in the legal profession in Michigan by assisting first-year, minority law students attending University of Michigan Law School, Michigan State University Law School or Wayne State Law School. Warner awards one scholarship of $2,000 to a 1L student in each of these law schools.

Warner is proud to have awarded the 1L Diversity Scholarships to the following recipients for the 2018/2019 law school year:
  • Colleen Roberts from University of Michigan
  • Alexis Smith from Wayne State University
  • Sestina Real from Michigan State University

The next 1L Diversity Scholarship will be offered in the fall of 2019. Interested students should print, complete and submit the 1L Diversity Scholarship application which will be posted by August 1, 2019. Applications will be accepted between October 1 - October 31, 2019.
