Mark K. Harder, a partner with Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been elected treasurer of the Michigan State Bar's Probate and Estate Planning Section
Harder, who concentrates his practices in trusts and estates law, will serve a one-year term as treasurer of the section. While serving in this role, he will also continue to serve as chair of the Michigan Trust Code Committee. The section works to enhance and improve the practice and administration of probate and estate planning law through a variety of vehicles, including advising the legislature and courts on pending litigation, educational outreach to other members of the Bar and the public, publication of a journal, sponsoring seminars and related activities.
Active both personally and professionally, Harder is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. He serves on the State Laws Committee of the American College of Trust and Estate Council, where he is a fellow.
He has held leadership and board positions with numerous organizations, including the Holland Area Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Women in Transition. He is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyers.
